Feast for All on Graduation Day!
 
On the last day of the Camp each apprentice that graduates to the next level will get to fight one of the Knights. The apprentice gets to wear REAL Armour and wield a REAL Sword.

Requirements for entry into the Day (Knight) Camp are: the young knight apprentice should be in the Age range of 8 to 12 years old. They will begin their journey as a Page, learning the first step of Knighthood.

Here is a list of the activities:

1. Morning Excercises
2. Making chainmail (belt, necklace and/or bracelet) Basic and Advanced versions taught.
3. Sword and Shield Training (Nerf Weapons)
4. Archery
5. Making a Coat of Arms (will be glued to their tabard)
6. Learning about Falconry
7. Learning about King Arthur & the Knights of the Round Table & Acting in a Play
8. Playing Medieval Games (Chess)
9. Tooling Leather and Making an Arm Guard
10. Learning about: Page, Squire & Knight - Rights and Responsibilities
11. Watching Knights in Combat
12. Combat against Knights

The dates for the 2012 Camps are:
July 9 to July 13
July 16 to July 20
August 13 to August 17.
August 20 to August 24.
Day Camp is open from 10:00am to 4:00pm, Parents are welcome to attend.
Lunches are not provided. Bottled water is provided.
Limited admissions. Maximum 20 Knight apprentices will be allotted per week.
Cost for the week per person is $250 + HST.
There is a $50 cost for materials (wood shields, tabards, chainmail, leather, etc.).
The Realm is located just outside of the Village of Hastings Ontario, on Dunlay Road.
There are 4 Counsellors (2 Knights & 2 Ladies).
