The ONLY Medieval Day Camp in Ontario, Canada Have your child enter the Medieval Era and learn to be a Knight.

Leather working...................... Chainmail Workshop

Sword Practice...................... Squiring
Requirements for entry into the Day (Knight) Camp are: the young knight apprentice should be in the Age range of 8 to 12 years old. They will begin their journey as a Page, learning the first step of Knighthood.

Here is a list of the activities:

1. Morning Excercises
2. Making chainmail (belt, necklace and/or bracelet) Basic and Advanced versions taught.
3. Sword and Shield Training (Nerf Weapons)
4. Archery
5. Making a Coat of Arms (will be glued to their tabard)
6. Learning about Falconry
7. Learning about King Arthur & the Knights of the Round Table & Acting in a Play
8. Playing Medieval Games (Chess)
9. Building a Siege Weapon (Traction Trebuchet)
10. Learning about: Page, Squire & Knight - Rights and Responsibilities
11. Watching Knights in Combat
12. Combat against Knights

 
The dates for the Camps are:
July 12 to July 16
August 9 to August 13.
Day Camp is open from 10:00am to 4:00pm, Parents are welcome to attend.
Lunches are not provided. Bottled water is provided.
Limited admissions. Maximum 20 Knight apprentices will be allotted per week.
Cost for the week per person is $400 + tax (includes materials: wood shields, tabards, chainmail, etc.).
The Realm is located just outside of the Village of Hastings Ontario, on Dunlay Road.
There are 4 Counsellors (2 Knights & 2 Ladies).
